"More important than the HOW we achieve Financial Freedom, is the WHY. Find the reasons why you want to be free and wealthy."

- Robert Kiyosaki

For those of you, who do not know this name, Robert Kiyosaki is an American businessman, the founder of Rich Global LLC, and the Rich Dad Company, a private financial education institution that provides personal finance and business education to people through books and videos.

Before you start with this, here is a little disclaimer-

DISCLAIMER- This is not a make money quick or get rich quick scheme. Please go forward only if you are ready to invest your time, and do a bit of hard work to earn money. Please Remember " No one becomes Rich Overnight. There is a difference between being rich and being wealthy. Decide what is the right one for you"

It is no wonder then that there are a wealth of tools, resources and content to enable E-commerce entrepreneurs to launch and grow their businesses—so much so, in fact, that keeping track of them can be overwhelming.

So, where do you start? If you’re using a ecommerce platform to host your business, chances are they curate a blog. Start there, as their content may be most relevant to help you make the most of their product and features.

During these past two years, and during the pandemic, people have started to understand the importance of being financially free, and not being stuck to just one source of income. I would not say that studying and getting a job is not important, or I would better say that, I am in no position to say that.

BUT THERE IS ONE THING THAT I THINK WE BOTH AGREE UPON -

Students and Teens need to start their ventures today, in order to be financially free in a few years. It will not just happen overnight. I have tried quite a lot of things like, digital marketing, affiliate marketing, starting my own shopify store, starting a YouTube channel. Some of them filed miserably, while some of them were profitable. In the series of these blogs, I am going to list all the ventures, so that you can avoid the mistakes I did and you can start on your own.

To all the students, teens, and whoever wants to start their journey today, here goes -

Okay, so let us start the talk about the easiest and my most profitable venture -                                         "STARTING YOUR FIRST E-COMMERCE STORE"

Well, a lot of people would say it is quite hard to setup a shopify store, some say it is quite a load ton of work to go about it. But, I say there is quite a ton of money and reward. A bit of here and there, and a few weeks into it, you will start understanding how it works.

We will go one step at a time, and I will make sure that after you get over with this blog , you will have all the necessary information to set your E-commerce store up and running.

DECIDING ABOUT WHAT KIND OF STORE YOU WANT.

So, the first thing, you need to know is, what kind of store you want to setup for yourself. Remember, this is something you will be doing for the next couple of years, so it needs to be something you are willing to do. Well, there are two kind of E-commerce store, i.e. drop-shipping store, and selling your own product. I will first give a brief description of what is the difference between the two.

Drop-shipping is when you start a store, and host other's products on your store, sell it on a certain price so that you earn some money. This is different than affiliate marketing, as it does not have a fixed commission. Think of it as buying something at wholesale price, and selling it at a higher price.

The other one quite explains itself. Creating a store, where you sell your own product. This  will require you to have your own product.

Most people say that beginners are recommended to do drop-shipping. But believe me, I found drop-shipping harder than selling my own products.

SELECTING THE PRODUCT YOU WANT TO SELL.

These are minute steps, obviously has its importance, but you can change it whenever you want, later down the path. So, I would recommend that you do not spend a lot of time it these two steps.

I hope you have already selected what kind of store you want for yourself.

If you want to start a drop shipping store, you need to select a hot topic, or hot product. This will need a bit of market research. I will tell you the easiest way you can do this. Go on websites like click-bank, Facebook marketplace, aliexpress, and Instagram. See what is the most sold product. It does not matter what it is, beauty products, weight loss/gain products, or any toy. If it is selling way too much at one place, you can sell it too. Remember, no website or marketplace can target the entire world. You just need to target a place where the website could not target. Well, you will learn how to do it down the line.

If you have decided to sell your own products, there are a lot of things you can do. Like make your own digital courses or products. You can sell anything, on which you can put your face. Remember, the product needs to be yours, and tested.

But, I will be discussing only about POD, or print on demand T-shirt businesses because that is the thing which got me success, and that is something I can teach you guys thoroughly about. Just imagine, you walking on the streets, and watching someone wearing the T-shirt you designed, and earning money to make people wear what you like.

KNOWING ABOUT PRINT ON DEMAND BUSINESS.

Okay, so the print on demand is often not looked into as a profitable business model, but believe me when I say, it is far more cheap and easier than any other business you might be thinking about doing. So, let me tell you a bit more about what you are about to get into. Keep an open mind and keep this in your mind, it is easy for you to loose motivation and quit half way, but remember why you started, the end goal is not to become rich, well it is eventually, but the bigger goal here is to be able to learn to create something from scratch whenever and wherever you want.

The print-on-demand business model is when you outsource the manufacturing and order fulfillment to a third-party service. You create a printable design, and the print-on-demand company will put that design onto your clothing product and then ship it out to your customer each time an order is placed. Though it typically has smaller profit margins than other clothing business models, print on demand doesn’t require inventory investment

The print on demand is something which has made people millions and so it can you one too. Print on demand is a apparel service you will provide, to people who want T-shirts to be printed for them. The best thing about this business is that, you do not need to have an inventory  to store your products. You do not need to buy your products and get them printed in a nearby store. Also, you do not need to stock up anything.

Wondering how to do that?

Worry not I will break it down one step at a time for you.

STEP 01 - CREATE AN ONLINE STORE.

Well, the first thing you need to do is, make an online store. There are many websites out there that can help you do that. My personal favorite and the one I found the easiest is Shopify. They make making the store just easier so that just anyone can do it. Believe me, if I can do it literally anyone can.

All you need to do is go to shopify, choose a free trial, and start designing your store. Well there are some things and customization that needs to be done as adding header, footer, adding legal pages and such. I will put a link here, so that you can just head over and see how it works.

You can also hire people to build a store for you. Well, they charge for it, but you know, they do things perfectly, and make your store such that you get more conversions.

Or, you can feel free to book a consultation with me, and I can walk you step by step through the settings for free.

STEP 02 - CREATING A BRAND NAME, GETTING A LOGO AND A DOMAIN.

Now, that you have created a store for yourself, you need to think a name for your store, or brand. You need to create a logo.

Your logo is a visual representation of your clothing company. And while you technically can shell out a bunch of money hiring a designer to do it for you, many clothing companies launch with a logo they’ve designed themselves. Shopify's Hatchful logo creator is one tool you can use to play around with fonts, colors, and graphics.

You can also make your logo using canva, but I found Shopify the easiest.

I would suggest not to spend much time on naming your store and such. Your business name is the first thing most people will hear when they learn about your clothing business. It’s important to make your name impactful. You might want to be super straightforward or have fun with something less literal and more creative.

The next step is buying your store a domain (.com, .in, .co.in, and such). You would get the domain name in the same website or other websites like go-daddy, and wix.

STEP 03 - FINDING YOUR NICHE

Well, I assume now you have made your store and are ready to move forward. So, now the most important part is to finding your niche and winning products. You need to find simple designs online and recreate them using Photoshop or free apps like Canva and Pinup. you can write certain quotes and get them printed on the T-shirts. The bottom line is you need to make people wearing your T-shirt feel indulged in a certain community.

You can just look for niche which is useful. For you, I am going to put up a list of best niches which I found after lots of market research.

STEP 04 - LISTING YOUR PRODUCTS ON YOUR STORE.

Now that you are ready  with your designs, you need to list your products in your shopify store. Just go to 'Add Products', add the mockups you created using Canva, and Pinup. Write a good description, add some tags and you are good to go.

Again if you are unable to do it, you know you can book a consultation call with me for free by dropping your contact details and E-mail in the comment box below.

Make sure to write good descriptions. Well, you cannot just post your designs, you need to post pinups. you can free pinups on canva. I will be posting the links below.

STEP 05 - PARTNERING UP WITH A PRINTING AND DELIVERY COMPANY.

Well now, you need to partner up with people who are going to print your tees and deliver it to your customers. I will teach you how to partner up with white collar companies like printrove. Once you are set up with Printrove, you can actually integrate your store with them so that they automatically collect your orders and designs once you approve of the order.

Shipping and fulfillment are arguably both the least exciting and most important part of any online business. These logistics determine how products get to their final destination, the customer’s address. And there’s more to order fulfillment than just shipping, you need to perfect the picking, packing, and shipping and ensure a consistent, positive customer experience every step of the way.

For this you can work directly with manufacturers to bring your clothing designs to life.

Working with a manufacturer is especially helpful if you have growth goals—it can be difficult or even impossible to keep up with growing demand if you make every piece by hand. However, it’s important to communicate growth goals with suppliers so you know they can handle it too.

Well, you do not have to worry about your delivery, refunds, or collecting money, or CODs.

STEP 06 - GAINING TRAFFIC

Well, I would like you to know that getting traffic is the base of your E-com store.

"How do I drive more traffic to my online store?”

At some point, that thought crosses the mind of every entrepreneur selling online.

Mostly people think that spending money on ads is not worth it. But I would want you to know that I made 17 sales the day I started just spending a small amount of money on Facebook ads.

For starters, let's get you started with organic ways of gaining traffic. Use social media to share your store. Tell people, friends and family to share it one their stories. Write a blog, just like this, it is free. Use Linkedin, and Facebook. Well, you can add upto 5000 fiends in Facebook. Just imagine you can send 1000-2000 of those to your store for free.
